iGA Launches Official WhatsApp Channel

 

Initiative strengthens access to eServices and real-time government updates

The Information & eGovernment Authority (Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA)) has launched its official channel on the WhatsApp platform (WhatsApp), aiming to enhance digital communication with the public and keep citizens and residents updated on the latest eServices and developments.

The new channel forms part of iGA’s ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation in Bahrain and strengthen engagement through modern communication tools. It is designed to improve access to information, increase public interaction, and deliver timely updates on government services through widely used digital platforms.

To join the channel, users can scan the QR code available on iGA’s official social media accounts (@igabahrain) and its website.

The authority encouraged citizens and residents to subscribe to stay informed and make full use of its wider digital ecosystem, including the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Portal (Bahrain National Portal) and the MyGov app (MyGov Bahrain App), available via bahrain.bh/apps.
