Arab Ministers Discuss Legal Cooperation
The meeting was convened to prepare for the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers and the 77th meeting of its Executive Bureau, both scheduled for Algeria. Discussions focused on drafting the agenda, following up on council resolutions, supporting the development of the Arab legal system, and coordinating positions on issues of common interest to strengthen judicial and legal cooperation among member states.
During the meeting, participants reviewed a report from the council’s technical secretariat on implementing decisions adopted during the 41st session of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers. They also discussed ways to enhance Arab cooperation in combating terrorism, including the implementation of the Arab Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism and mechanisms to ensure its effective application.
