His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with Salah Ahmed Al Midfa, Chairman of the Bahrain Bar Society, and members of the Society’s Board of Directors at Gudaibiya Palace today.
During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for Bahrain’s national workforce, noting that their expertise and dedication continue to contribute significantly to the Kingdom’s progress across various sectors of the economy.
His Royal Highness underscored the important role played by the Bahrain Bar Society in advancing and supporting the legal profession. He congratulated the newly elected Board of Directors and wished them success in fulfilling the Kingdom’s aspirations and further strengthening the legal sector.
Marking Bahraini Lawyers’ Day, observed annually on June 15, HRH Prince Salman expressed his appreciation to Bahraini lawyers for their vital contributions to promoting justice and upholding the rule of law. He commended their efforts in protecting rights and interests, enhancing confidence in Bahrain’s judicial system, and demonstrating professionalism in support of the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
For his part, Salah Ahmed Al Midfa expressed his gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s continued support for the legal profession and Bahrain’s national legal talent.
The meeting was also attended by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; HE Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Labour and Minister of Legal Affairs; and HE Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf.
