The General Directorate for the Enforcement of Judgments and Alternative Sentencing organised a field campaign to clean the Malikiya coastline, with the participation of several beneficiaries from the open prisons programme, in celebration of World Environment Day.
The initiative is part of the directorate’s ongoing efforts to strengthen rehabilitation and community integration programmes while promoting the values of citizenship and social responsibility among beneficiaries. The campaign involved participants in volunteer activities aimed at serving the community and protecting the environment.
The directorate stated that the initiative reflects the positive impact of participating in environmental activities and raises awareness about preserving natural resources. It also supports the open prisons program's objectives, which seek to prepare beneficiaries for active and positive integration into society.
