The Thattai Hindu Community (THC) organised a successful blood donation camp on Friday, June 5, 2026, in association with the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) at the Shrinathji Shri Krishna Temple in Manama.
The humanitarian initiative saw participation from more than 155 donors representing six different nationalities, highlighting the strong spirit of community service and social responsibility in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The blood donation campaign has remained a cornerstone initiative of the Thattai Hindu Community for over 30 years. Conducted four times annually, the programme regularly attracts an average of over 150 donors each quarter.
Through these continued efforts, the community has played an important role in supporting Bahrain’s National Blood Bank and contributing to life-saving healthcare services across the Kingdom.
On behalf of the THC Executive Committee, Chairman Mahesh Bhatia expressed gratitude to the Salmaniya Medical Complex team for their cooperation and support in organising the event. He also thanked all donors and volunteers for their selfless contributions and reaffirmed the community’s long-standing commitment to humanitarian and life-saving causes in Bahrain.
The event concluded successfully, further strengthening the community’s ongoing dedication to public service and charitable initiatives.
