Bahrain Suspends Citizens’ Travel to Iran and Iraq
The Ministry of Interior has announced a temporary ban on citizens travelling to Iran and Iraq, citing ongoing regional security tensions.
In a statement, the ministry said the decision was taken “in light of the continuing security situation” linked to the repercussions of the “Iranian aggression”.
The ministry said the measure was introduced as part of efforts to safeguard national security and ensure the safety of Bahraini citizens.
The travel suspension will remain in effect until further notice.
Authorities also warned that legal action would be taken against anyone found violating the decision.
