From packed mosques to gatherings across the Kingdom, Bahrain embraced Eid Al Adha yesterday in a powerful display of faith, unity and national solidarity led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Senior officials, military leaders and citizens attended the Eid prayers, where sermons focused on gratitude, stability and devotion to the nation.
Delivering the Eid sermon, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Hajeri described Eid Al Adha as among the most beloved days before God and praised Bahrain’s leadership for safeguarding the country’s security and wellbeing. He said the occasion renews loyalty to His Majesty the King and underlined that support for legitimate leadership remains essential to preserving both religious and civic life. The preacher also commended the role of Bahrain’s defence and security institutions in protecting the nation and called on citizens to unite behind their leadership out of love for their homeland.
He concluded with prayers for the King’s continued health and success, and for Bahrain to remain a country of peace, prosperity and stability.
Meanwhile, members of the Bahrain National Guard gathered at the Sakhir Camp Mosque to perform Eid prayers alongside commanders and officers. The sermon there highlighted the values of brotherhood, compassion and unity embodied by Eid Al Adha and the rituals of Hajj. National Guard personnel also extended Eid greetings to His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, praying for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
