India Names Ambassador to Bahrain

Dr. Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit has been appointed as India’s next Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Ministry of External Affairs of India announced on Thursday.
Dr. Rajpurohit, served as High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, will take up his new assignment in Manama, the ministry said in a statement.
India and Bahrain share longstanding diplomatic and economic ties, supported by a large Indian community residing in the kingdom and strong cooperation across trade, investment, and consular affairs.
