Hundreds of low-income families across Bahrain are set to receive sacrificial meat this Eid Al Adha as the Bahrain Charity Society prepares its annual distribution drive to support vulnerable households.
The society said preparations are in their final stages for the project, which aims to strengthen social solidarity and bring festive relief to families in need during the Eid period.
Secretary-General Hassan Ibrahim Kamal said volunteer teams were working intensively to ensure the initiative is carried out in an organised and efficient manner, with attention to quality standards and the dignity of beneficiaries.
Financial Secretary Wael Ali Sayyar described the programme as one of the society’s most important annual initiatives, citing its humanitarian and social impact in easing financial pressure on low-income families and enabling them to share in Eid celebrations.
He also urged donors and philanthropists to contribute to the campaign, saying broader community support would help extend assistance to a larger number of households.
