Crack Down on Exploitation Ring

As part of ongoing security efforts to combat human trafficking and reinforce Bahrain’s strong international standing in addressing such crimes, the Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of an Asian man and woman accused of exploiting women and forcing them into illegal activities.
The Anti-Human Trafficking and Public Morality Protection Unit, operating under the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, carried out the operation after receiving information regarding the case.
Authorities said that immediate investigations and intensive searches led to the suspects’ identification and subsequent arrest.
The Ministry confirmed that all necessary legal procedures have been taken, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
