Optional Fee Relief for Tourism Sector

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority announced the introduction of an optional deferral of first-quarter fees for all tourism establishments across the Kingdom.
The measure applies to hotels, hotel apartments, furnished apartments, and tourism-oriented restaurants.
The Authority stated that the initiative supports ongoing efforts to sustain business continuity and enhance flexibility within the tourism sector. It also reflects strengthened cooperation with the private sector to boost Bahrain’s competitiveness as a leading tourism destination.
Officials noted that the step is designed to ease operational pressures on tourism businesses while encouraging sustained growth and stability across the industry.
