Caribou Marks Earth Day with Reusable Cup Offer
Caribou Coffee is celebrating Earth Day with a special offer aimed at encouraging sustainable habits among customers.
As part of the initiative, customers can enjoy a coffee for BD2 when they bring their own container of any size, provided it is not made of plastic. The promotion highlights the importance of reducing single-use waste while rewarding environmentally conscious choices.
The campaign reflects growing efforts by businesses to support sustainability and inspire small everyday actions that can make a positive environmental impact. Reusable cups and containers are increasingly seen as practical alternatives to disposable packaging, helping cut waste and promote greener lifestyles.
With Earth Day serving as a reminder of the need to protect the planet, Caribou’s offer adds a simple and customer-friendly way to take part in the global movement.
This is not the first time Bahrain has seen such sustainability-driven Earth Day initiatives.
In recent years, Marassi Galleria distributed reusable bags made from recycled materials during Earth Day 2024, while a large public event in Seef in 2023 drew more than 1,200 participants for tree planting and awareness activities.
In 2025, Earth Day was also used to highlight Bahrain’s National Afforestation Plan, which aims to increase tree numbers to 3.6 million by 2035. More broadly, community campaigns such as the 2026 “Impact for Good” drive, which handed out 5,000 reusable cotton bags, reflect a growing culture of practical environmental action in the Kingdom.
Together, these examples show that Earth Day in Bahrain is increasingly becoming more than a symbolic observance — it is evolving into a platform for practical action, public engagement, and environmental behaviour change.
