BOC Conducts Field Visits to Boost Federation Development

The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has intensified its engagement with national sports bodies through a series of field visits aimed at strengthening coordination and supporting development across federations.
The visits were led by Hisham Al-Balushi, Director of Sports Federations Affairs, alongside Buallay, Head of the Sports Federations Section. The delegation met with officials from the Bahrain Athletics Association, Bahrain Basketball Association, Bahrain Handball Federation, and Bahrain Fencing Association.
During the tour, Al-Balushi conveyed the greetings of Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, reaffirming the BOC’s commitment to supporting all federations and enhancing their operational performance.
At the Bahrain Fencing Association, discussions with Shaikh Ibrahim bin Salman Al Khalifa focused on development programmes, expanding participation, and addressing technical and administrative challenges, with particular emphasis on nurturing young talent. At the Bahrain Athletics Association, talks with Mohammed Abdul Latif bin Jalal reviewed progress, future plans, and strategies to improve athlete performance and achieve stronger results in upcoming competitions.
Meetings with the Bahrain Basketball Association highlighted efforts to grow the sport locally, enhance competitiveness, and expand participation, while the visit to the Bahrain Handball Federation focused on building on recent successes and strengthening national teams for regional and international events.
