Foreign Minister Meets UAE Ambassador to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, received Fahad Mohammed Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Manama.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the strong and longstanding ties between Bahrain and the UAE, as well as the steady progress in bilateral cooperation across various sectors. They discussed ways to further enhance relations in line with the directives of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the aim of serving the shared interests of both nations and their peoples.

The discussions also covered recent regional developments, with a focus on the role of the Gulf Cooperation Council in strengthening coordination and joint efforts to address current challenges and maintain regional security and stability.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Nawar Abdullah Al Mutawa, Acting Chief of the GCC Affairs Sector.
