“National Loyalty Is the Highest Standard,” Says Interior Minister

Lieutenant General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister, has said that Bahrain will remain steadfast in defending its sovereignty, citizens, and residents under the leadership of His Majesty the King during a meeting with members of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council.

He described Bahrain as “a nation we have lived for and for which we will die,” stressing that protecting national unity is not optional but a duty for all citizens.

The Minister praised the government’s development approach led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, calling it a comprehensive and advanced vision that strengthens national cohesion and helps counter attempts to undermine consensus.

He emphasized that the meeting aimed to reinforce social unity and safeguard Bahrain’s internal stability, while expressing appreciation to citizens who demonstrate loyalty and national responsibility.

“This is a day of unity, solidarity, and cohesion,” he said, adding that loyalty to the nation remains the highest measure of civic responsibility and moral standing.

The Interior Minister also highlighted the continued commitment of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, to preserving national unity and ensuring the country’s security and strength, noting that the bond between leadership and people remains central to Bahrain’s stability.

He warned against any actions or affiliations that contradict national interests, stating that those who place external loyalties above the nation are outside the national framework.

He concluded that Bahrain will continue to be a welcoming home for all citizens who remain loyal, committed, and supportive of the country’s unity and progress.
