Even after the recent difficult events in Sitra, life and learning continued. One inspiring example is teacher Zainab Hubail, a resident of Sitra Island, whose home was damaged during the events, yet she never let this affect her students. Despite the personal challenges she faced, she remained committed to her role and continued teaching her fifth-grade class through online lessons.

Her dedication did not go unnoticed. During one of her virtual classes, the Minister of Education

Dr. Mohamed Juma joined to personally thank her. He spoke to the students about how exceptional their teacher is, praising her commitment and highlighting that educators like her are role models for everyone in the education community. He reminded everyone that, even in challenging circumstances, education must continue, and those who dedicate themselves to it deserve recognition.

The moment also showed the strong bond between teacher and students. One of the students spoke from the heart, saying, “We love her a lot,” reflecting the deep appreciation and affection the class has for their teacher.

This incident reminds us that education is not just about lessons or schedules it is about care, dedication, and perseverance. Teachers like Zainab show that, even in difficult times, learning can continue, and the human connection between teacher and student can shine brighter than ever.
