Trump: Iran War Could End ‘Very Soon’ Amid Massive Strikes
US President Donald Trump has said he expects the war on Iran to be over “very soon.” Speaking at a press conference in Doral, Florida, he told reporters, “No, not this week, but soon. I think very soon.”
Trump highlighted the progress of US and Israeli forces over the past nine days, calling their operations “some of the most powerful and complex military strikes the world has ever seen.” He claimed that major objectives have been achieved, adding, “We’ve wiped out every single force in Iran very completely.”
The president also stated that Iran’s naval power has been mostly destroyed, with ships reportedly sunk to the bottom of the sea. He confirmed targeted strikes on Iranian drone and missile production facilities, saying their capabilities are now “down to about 10%, maybe less.”
Over 5,000 strategic targets have reportedly been hit, with some critical sites reserved for later operations, which could include key electricity infrastructure.
