The Ministry of Interior announced that the Anti-Cybercrime Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has arrested four individuals for posting content on social media that threatens national security.
The arrested posted videos related to Iranian aggression, including footage from military sites and messages expressing sympathy with the attacks. Such content misleads public opinion, spreads fear, and violates the nation’s values and principles.
Legal proceedings are underway, and the case will be referred to the Public Prosecution. The Ministry urged citizens and residents to obtain information from official sources only and refrain from sharing unverified videos or news to ensure personal and national safety.
