Bahrain Intercepts 70 Missiles and 59 Drones
Air defense systems of the Bahrain Defence Force responded with high efficiency after dozens of aerial threats targeted the Kingdom, authorities confirmed.
According to the National Communication Centre, a total of 70 ballistic missiles and 59 drones were launched toward Bahrain. Air defense units successfully intercepted and neutralized all incoming threats.
Officials said that the targeting of civilian areas constitutes a violation of international law and an infringement on the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During interception operations, limited debris fell in several areas, but authorities quickly responded and implemented safety protocols to secure the affected locations.
The relevant agencies confirmed that monitoring and defense operations remain at the highest level of readiness, with continued coordination among national security and emergency response teams.
