HRH Prince Salman Meets Ministers to Assess Bahrain’s Security Readiness

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with several Ministers to discuss the latest developments.

His Royal Highness met with HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; HE Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture; HE Dr Jalila bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health; and HE Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness was briefed on the latest developments concerning the security situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain following the recent hostile Iranian attacks, as well as the ongoing efforts of the defence and security authorities to reinforce security and stability, uphold the rule of law, and safeguard the wellbeing of citizens and residents.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that the Kingdom, under the leadership and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, continues to drive forward efforts to preserve and uphold security and stability within the Kingdom.

His Royal Highness noted that current hostilities are being closely monitored, with precautionary measures in place to ensure the continued safety and security of Bahrain.

His Royal Highness also reviewed the latest health measures, including the readiness of medical personnel and the efforts undertaken to ensure the continued delivery of healthcare services at full operational capacity and to the highest standards, ensuring that citizens and residents have access to essential medical care under all circumstances.

His Royal Highness reviewed the stability of local markets, underscoring the importance of ensuring the sustainability of essential supplies and the ongoing monitoring of supply chains to ensure the smooth flow of trade and prevent any disruptions.

While His Royal Highness was also briefed on the municipal services sector and plans to address the effects of the current situation and to maintain service levels across the various governorates, ensuring the continuity of essential services that directly impact the lives of citizens and residents.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of cooperation between various entities to respond to developments effectively, affirming that the safety of citizens and residents is a key priority.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that the Kingdom’s institutions are working in full coordination to ensure stability, in line with the Kingdom’s ongoing development.

For their part, the Ministers expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’ commitment to ensuring that various sectors continue to provide the necessary support to citizens and residents.

They affirmed the readiness of all teams to carry out their duties to preserve the Kingdom’s security and stability, while continuing to meet the needs of citizens and residents under all circumstances.
