Safety Awareness Workshop For NMS Students

New Millennium School, Bahrain organized a Safety Awareness Workshop on Traffic Rules and Bus Safety for the students of KG 2 and Grade I, aiming to inculcate safe habits and responsible behaviour from an early age. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sudhish Chacko Mondy, Rank – Orafa, from the General Directorate of Traffic, Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the interactive session, students were sensitized to basic traffic rules essential for road safety. They were also guided on safety measures to be followed while commuting in a school bus or car, as well as within the school premises. The resource person highlighted common and careless mistakes often committed by people and explained their possible consequences in a child-friendly manner.
The workshop was enriched with videos and visual presentations, which helped reinforce the importance of obeying traffic rules. The young learners gained a clear understanding of how safety rules protect lives and ensure discipline on the roads.
Principal Dr. Arun Kuumar Sharma expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Sudhish for conducting such an informative and engaging session. He emphasized that early awareness plays a crucial role in preventing accidents and nurturing responsible citizens.
Congratulating the initiative Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Mrs Geetha Pillai, appreciated the school’s proactive approach towards educating children about road safety at a young age which helps build a culture of responsibility and vigilance, both within and outside the school campus.
Parents conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to the Management for its continued efforts in always ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
