Worker killed after debris from intercepted missile sparks fire on foreign ship
Bahrain has reported its first death linked to the escalating regional tensions after a fire broke out on a foreign vessel in Salman Industrial City, authorities confirmed.
According to the Ministry of Interior (MOI), the fire started when debris from an intercepted missile fell onto the ship.
The incident resulted in the death of an Asian worker, while two other workers sustained serious injuries.
Emergency teams quickly responded to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control and extinguish it.
Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation as regional tensions remain high.
