Israel Detects Missile Launches from Iran, Activates Air Defences

Jerusalem: The Israeli military said it had identified missile launches from Iran toward Israeli territory, with air defence systems deployed to intercept the incoming threat.
In a statement posted on X by the Israeli Air Force, the military said the Home Front Command had issued preliminary alerts directly to mobile phones in affected areas, instructing residents to follow safety guidelines.
Authorities urged the public to enter protected spaces immediately upon receiving an alert and remain there until further notice, stressing that leaving shelters would only be permitted following an explicit directive from the Home Front Command.
