BAB signs MoU with Kuwait Banking Association to Enhance Financial Collaboration

The Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kuwait Banking Association at the Association’s headquarters in the State of Kuwait. The MoU provides a general framework to facilitate dialogue, information exchange, and engagement between the two associations on matters of shared interest to their respective members.
The MoU was signed on behalf of BAB by Mrs. Zeeba Askar, Chief Executive Officer of BAB, and on behalf of Kuwait Banking Association by Dr. Yaqoub Al-Sayyid Yousef Al-Rifai, Secretary General of the Association.
Commenting on the signing, Mrs. Zeeba Askar, Chief Executive Officer of BAB, said “The MoU reflects BAB’s focus on maintaining constructive engagement with peer banking associations in the region and supporting structured dialogue and knowledge exchange in a manner that serves the interests of member banks.”
Ms. Shaikha Al-Essa, Secretary General of the Kuwait Banking Association, welcomed the signing of the MoU, noting that it supports closer institutional engagement and continued exchange between the two associations.
