Bahrain Exhibition World Set for First-Ever WEIF Hosting

Bahrain Exhibition World has announced the completion of its preparations to host the sixth edition of the World Entrepreneurs and Investment Forum (WEIF 2026), scheduled to take place on February 10–11, under the gracious patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

This marks the first time the prestigious international forum will be held at Bahrain Exhibition World, building on the success of its previous five editions in 2015, 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2024.

Forum activities will be spread across the main hall, its foyer, and several meeting rooms, covering a total area exceeding 3,200 square metres. The venue has been fully prepared to provide an integrated, interactive environment that supports high-level dialogue, enhanced networking, and deal-making among investors and entrepreneurs.

The forum is organised by the General Secretariat of the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in partnership with the League of Arab States, Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Union of Arab Chambers, and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, alongside a broad network of local, regional, and international partners.

WEIF 2026 is expected to attract more than 800 participants from around the world, including investors, entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and chief executive officers. Discussions will centre on the theme “Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through Empowering Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Capital Mobilisation from Resilient Communities,” with a strong focus on sustainable development, artificial intelligence, and green growth.

With renewed emphasis on entrepreneurship as a driver of innovation and economic resilience, the forum will feature a series of high-level panel discussions, specialised sessions, targeted meetings, and impactful side events, supported by Bahrain Exhibition World’s advanced infrastructure and world-class event management services.
