Northern Councillor Praises Justice Ministry Cooperation on District Nine Projects

Abdullah Mubarak Bilal Al Qubaisi, the Northern Municipal Council member for the Ninth District, commended the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments for its cooperation through the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments. He credited this partnership with delivering projects that directly benefited residents during the sixth municipal session.

Al Qubaisi said the constructive coordination with the ministry resulted in tangible outcomes that support the community and strengthen mosque infrastructure across the district. He described the cooperation as a practical example of effective institutional partnership serving community needs.
He noted that achievements under the Sunni Endowments included the completion of maintenance works at Fatima bint Al Rasool Mosque in Hamad Town, Block 1210. Two agreements were also signed to finalise the documentation and construction of properties for the Bilal bin Rabah Mosque in Block 1205 and Abdullah bin Awfa Mosque in Block 1209. In addition, approvals were granted to expand Abdulrahman bin Awf Mosque in Block 1209, Ramla bint Abi Sufyan Mosque in Block 1205, and Umm Salama Mosque in Block 1209. Temporary cabins were also allocated to continue pending land documentation for the Ubadah bin Al Samit Mosque in Block 1210 and Khadija Umm Al Mu'minin Mosque in Block 1205.
Regarding the Jaafari Endowments, Al Qubaisi pointed to the completion of maintenance works at Sayyida Zainab Mosque in Block 1209. Approval was also granted for three parking sites serving Kareem Ahl Al Bait Mosque in Block 1207, Sayyida Khadija Mosque in Block 1205, and Al Zahra Mosque in Block 1205. He added that procedures are underway to document and register land for constructing Khatam Al Anbiya' Mosque on Road 535 in Hamad Town, Block 1205, as well as Imam Al Mahdi Mosque on Road 536 in the same area.
