HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Attends the 18th Race Amid Thrilling Competition and Wide Participation

In the presence of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), the Club held today the 18th race of the 2025/2026 season at its racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir. The race was held for the Bahrain Jewellery Centre Cup, Porsche Cups, the Fatees Al Hajeri Cup, and the Jockey Club Cup.
The race was attended by a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, along with representatives of the sponsoring entities, and was marked by a highly competitive atmosphere, complemented by a range of accompanying entertainment activities and events.
The winners of the race cups were crowned, as Mr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Hajeri presented the Fatees Al Hajeri Cup to the winning trainer, Yousif Taher, while Mr. Ahmed Shirazi, Managing Director of Bahrain Jewellery Centre, presented the fourth round trophy to Mr. Faisal Mefareh Al Ajmi, and the sixth round trophy to the winning owner, Abdullah Fawzi Nass.
Meanwhile, Sophie Able, General Manager of the Jockey Club, presented the seventh round trophy to the winning owner, Hadi Al Afoo, while Mr. Timothy Price, General Manager of Porsche – Bahrain, presented the eighth round trophy to Hasan Mefareh Al Ajmi.
The racing evening was marked by strong competition across the races.
