Ministers Call to Halt Unlawful Actions in West Bank

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, participated in an expanded dialogue with senior Arab and European counterparts, including Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Al-Attiyah, Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani, Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan Al-Muraikhi, and Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon.

The ministers discussed ways to enhance regional and international security, focusing on the situation in Gaza. They emphasized the need to fully implement the ceasefire agreement, ensure sustainable humanitarian aid, and advance efforts toward a viable peace plan, aiming for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution.

The discussions also addressed developments in the occupied West Bank. The ministers called for an immediate halt to Israel’s unilateral actions in the region and stressed the importance of protecting Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, warning that violations escalate tensions and undermine all initiatives for stability and calm.
