Indian Embassy in Bahrain Celebrates World Hindi Day

To mark World Hindi Day, the Embassy of India in Bahrain organized a vibrant celebratory event. The function was chaired by the Acting Ambassador, Mr. Rajiv Kumar Mishra, and attended by educators, embassy officials, and prominent members of the Indian community.
In his keynote address delivered in Hindi, Mr. Mishra highlighted the global significance of the Hindi language and its role as a bridge for cultural identity among the diaspora. He emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the language for future generations.
The celebration also featured the prize distribution for the Inter-School Hindi Competition. Students from various Indian schools were honored for their achievements and captivated the audience with impressive performances, including poetry recitations, storytelling, role-plays, and songs. The event successfully showcased the linguistic talents of the youth while fostering a deeper appreciation for Indian heritage.
