Bahrain economy grows 4% in third quarter of 2025

Bahrain’s real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 4.0% in the third quarter of 2025, according to preliminary national accounts data issued by the Information and eGovernment Authority.
The growth was driven by a 9.3% increase in oil activities and a 3.1% rise in nonoil sectors, highlighting the combined contribution of both sectors to the Kingdom’s economic expansion.
The figures were published yesterday in the Bahrain Economic Quarterly Report for Q3 2025 by the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.
The report highlighted the pivotal role of non-oil activities, which contributed 85.0% to the Kingdom’s real GDP during the period.
Among these sectors, real estate led growth at 5.4%, followed by financial and insurance activities at 5.0%.
Transportation and storage, as well as construction, each recorded 4.4% growth, while manufacturing grew by 3.9% and wholesale and retail trade rose by 3.3%. Information and communication increased by 2.1%, and accommodation and food services expanded by 1.5%.
