In a vibrant display of social solidarity and national pride, the Fina Khair Volunteer Team, in partnership with the Abdulrahman Kanoo Parents Care Club, successfully hosted the National Giving Bazaar at the Fatima Al Shukr Hall from December 25 to 27. The event, which coincided with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day celebrations, was specifically dedicated to supporting and empowering productive families. From the opening day until the final moments, the bazaar witnessed a massive public turnout and remarkable interaction, reflecting a high level of coordination between the organizing bodies and a shared commitment to community growth.
The bazaar served as a strategic platform for local families to display their products in a stimulating and supportive environment, directly enhancing their marketing opportunities and achieving key socio-economic goals. Beyond commerce, the event fostered a joyful, family-friendly atmosphere, particularly on the second day when children enjoyed a bouncy castle, popcorn, and cotton candy. Cultural and heritage aspects were also prominently featured through a traditional Sudanese Ardha performance presented by the Al-Khawalda Association of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which was warmly received by the audience and highlighted the community’s rich social diversity.
The significance of the initiative was further underscored by the presence of distinguished official and community figures. Among the prominent guests were MP Dr. Mariam Al-Dhaen and MP Abdulhakim Al-Shanoo, whose attendance reflected parliamentary interest in empowering local families. They were joined by influential leaders in the voluntary sector, including Abdulaziz Al-Sindi, Head of the Bahrain Voluntary Work Society; Abdullah Eid Al-Marhi, Head of the Positive Hands Volunteer Team; Mariam Al-Mansouri, Director of the Durrat Al-Riffa Social Club for Parents; and Fatima Issa, Director of the Abdulrahman Kanoo Parents Care Club. The gathering also included Dr. Emad of the Anti-Smoking Association, journalist Hafez Abdel Ghaffar, and Qatari businessman Nasser Al-Sada, embodying a powerful scene of joint community action.
The resounding success of the event was made possible through the dedicated support of several key individuals, most notably the social activist and spiritual father of the team, Professor Faisal Al-Abbasi. Significant contributions were also made by Khulood Abdullah Farhan, Hasina Saad Al-Mashari, and Jamila Mubarak Al-Rumaihi, whose organizational expertise ensured the bazaar was presented in an honorable and professional manner. By the time the event concluded, it had established itself as a successful model of integration between volunteer teams and civil institutions, proving that well-planned community partnerships can leave a lasting, positive impact on society.
