Bapco Energies Charts Next Phase of Bahrain’s Energy Transformation

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Energies, led the company’s fourth-quarter board meeting for 2025. Bapco Energies is the Kingdom’s integrated energy group spearheading Bahrain’s energy sector transformation.

At the start of the meeting, HH Shaikh Nasser extended his warmest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the country’s beloved monarch, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as to the people of Bahrain, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s National Day celebrations and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne.

HH Shaikh Nasser reviewed the group’s overall performance for the year, along with updates on activities in the exploration, production, and refining sectors, and progress in implementing the National Energy Strategy.

The Board also reviewed the latest developments of the Bapco Refinery Modernization Programme, the company’s financial performance, and ongoing institutional transformation efforts. The meeting highlighted continued collaboration with international partners.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Bapco Energies in its role as a key driver of energy security, economic opportunity, and sustainability in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
