Kuwaiti Amir Arrives in Bahrain for 46th GCC Summit
His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, arrived in Bahrain today to take part in the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit.
He was welcomed at the airport by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, along with a number of senior officials, were also present to receive him.
The Kingdom of Bahrain is hosting this year’s GCC Summit, bringing together Gulf leaders to discuss regional cooperation and shared priorities.
