A native of Trikkaripur, Kasaragod, Kerala, who had been undergoing long-term treatment at Salmaniya Government Hospital, has returned home with the assistance of the Indian Embassy in Bahrain. Organizations including ICRF (Indian Community Relief Fund), Hope Bahrain, and BDK (Blood Donors Kerala) also played a crucial role in providing support.

The individual arrived in Bahrain three years ago. While preparing to return home due to difficulties in converting his visit visa to a work visa, his respiratory illness worsened, leading to prolonged treatment in the ICU and later in the ward at Salmaniya Hospital.

His friend, Raheem, who was providing support, understood the situation. Following this, K.T. Salim, the head of ICRF Hospital affairs and Chairman of BDK Bahrain, contacted the patient's family. Based on the family's application, the Indian Embassy in Bahrain took the necessary steps to facilitate his repatriation.

Representatives from Hope Bahrain, including Shaji Muthala, Faisal Pattandi, Sabu Chirammal, and Shaji Ilambilayi, provided assistance both at the hospital and during the repatriation process. Furthermore, a NORKA ambulance was arranged from Kozhikode Airport to Payyanur Government Hospital, which is near his native place, through the NORKA Help Desk at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam.
