Enhancing Bahrain-Oman ties and cooperation

The Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, has highlighted the historical Bahrain-Oman relations, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman. H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah recalled the historic visits exchanged by Their Majesties, which enhanced joint cooperation, and emphasised His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to advancing bilateral relations.

HRH Prince Salman delegated the Deputy Prime Minister to attend a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Bahrain on the occasion of Oman’s National Day. He highlighted the growing economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, noting the establishment of the Oman-Bahrain Investment Company as a milestone in economic integration.

H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah also emphasised both countries’ commitment to regional security and stability and commended Oman’s role in promoting dialogue and diplomacy. The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed Oman’s participation in the 46th GCC Summit, hosted by Bahrain, noting it will strengthen regional cooperation and support development, security, and economic priorities.
