New Hilton Property Strengthens Tourism Ambitions

His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, noted that the opening of this new landmark adds significant value to Bahrain’s hotel and tourism landscape. He highlighted that the project reflects the momentum of continuous development within the Kingdom’s hospitality sector and underscores the confidence that major global hotel brands place in Bahrain’s robust investment environment—one supported by advanced infrastructure, a promising tourism market, and a strategic geographical position.

His Excellency further affirmed that Bahrain’s tourism sector occupies a central role among the nation’s strategic priorities, serving as a vital pillar of economic diversification. This vision aligns closely with the comprehensive national development agenda led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and guided by the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Khalid emphasized that the government’s growing focus on advancing the tourism sector is part of an integrated national strategy aimed at enhancing infrastructure, broadening service offerings, and strengthening the Kingdom’s competitive appeal. The strategy aims to provide a sustainable environment that attracts more visitors, encourages high-value investments in hospitality, and brings in renowned international hotel brands, enriching Bahrain’s tourism ecosystem and raising service standards to the highest global benchmarks.

The inauguration of the Hilton Bahrain City Center Hotel & Residences, located in Seef District, was attended by several ministers, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, senior officials, business leaders, and invited guests, marking a milestone in Bahrain’s ongoing development of its hospitality sector.
