Ms Munira Al-Dosari Appointed Executive Director of King Hamad Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance
Dr Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance, has announced the appointment of Ms Munira Naufal Al-Dosari as the Centre’s Executive Director.
On this occasion, His Excellency extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ms Al-Dosari and wished her every success in her new role. He reaffirmed the Centre’s full support for her efforts to continue its pioneering work in promoting the values of coexistence and tolerance, enhancing Bahrain’s position as a global model for respecting religious and cultural diversity, and fostering constructive dialogue between civilizations and cultures. Dr Sheikh Abdullah also expressed his appreciation to the outgoing leadership for their dedicated efforts over the past two years in strengthening the Centre’s operations and achieving tangible results, wishing them continued success in the future.
The appointment of Ms Al-Dosari reflects the Centre’s commitment to attracting national talent in line with Bahrain’s broader efforts to promote a culture of peace and tolerance. Ms Al-Dosari brings extensive experience in international relations, legal and parliamentary affairs, having previously headed the Asia and Pacific Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served in the diplomatic corps since 2010. She holds a Master’s degree in International Service, specialising in Foreign and Security Policy for the Middle East, from the American University in Washington.
