HRH Crown Prince Receives Outgoing League of Arab States Official
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Ambassador Khalil Ibrahim Al Thawadi, the outgoing Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and Head of the Arab Affairs and National Security Sector at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, at Gudaibiya Palace today.
During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed Bahrain’s pride in the dedication and achievements of its citizens across diverse fields. He noted that these accomplishments reflect the professionalism and excellence of Bahrain’s national workforce, whose contributions continue to advance the Kingdom’s comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman praised Ambassador Al Thawadi for his distinguished career, highlighting his dedication, integrity, and exemplary service to Bahrain and the wider Arab world. He also recognized the Ambassador’s efforts in advancing government work and strengthening Arab cooperation through his various roles at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
The Crown Prince also commended Team Bahrain for consistently delivering high standards, enhancing government performance, and supporting the efficiency of vital national sectors.
In response, Ambassador Al Thawadi expressed his gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince’s continued support and recognition of Bahrain’s workforce. He said such acknowledgement serves as a strong source of motivation, inspiring greater dedication to the Kingdom’s ongoing development and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
