A symphony of chrome, craftsmanship, and history came alive yesterday at the Royal Golf Club as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, unveiled 90 of the world’s most exceptional automotive masterpieces. The display was complemented by 300 standout machines from the Gulf’s finest car clubs, leaving onlookers in awe.
The showcase, titled the Royal Bahrain Concours, marks a defining moment in the region’s motoring legacy as the first event of its kind in the Gulf.
While touring the collection of rare and distinguished vehicles, His Royal Highness remarked that the event reflects Bahrain’s ability to host worldclass gatherings and highlights the strength and maturity of its tourism sector.
“The ability of the Kingdom to balance authenticity with modernity is reflected in events such as the Royal Bahrain Concours, which supports national efforts toward sustainable development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,” His Royal Highness said. HRH added that the event also stands as “a testament to Bahrain’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and the dedication of its highly qualified national workforce.”

His Royal Highness further emphasised that the tourism sector represents a cornerstone of Bahrain’s national economy and a key driver of sustainable growth. The diversity of events hosted by the Kingdom — from global sporting moments to classic car showcases — enhances Bahrain’s competitiveness across the tourism and sports sectors, further strengthening its overall development.

Turning to Bahrain’s motorsporting success, His Royal Highness highlighted the nation’s proven record in hosting the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix since 2004 at the Bahrain International Circuit — a milestone that has firmly established the Kingdom as a leading hub for international motorsport.
