Bahrain committed to stronger Arab unity and regional security: HRH Prince Salman

Bahrain remains steadfast in its commitment to strengthening joint Arab action and collaboration under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, said His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.

“Such cooperation ensures that Arab nations continue to address regional and international developments diligently, while fulfilling the aspirations of their peoples for greater progress and prosperity,” HRH Prince Salman said. The remarks came as His Royal Highness met His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, along with senior delegates from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and other Arab countries attending the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025. HRH Prince Salman highlighted the importance of building on past achievements to reinforce Arab unity and coordination in support of regional security, stability, and sustainable development.

The Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister also reiterated the significance of regional security and the GCC’s vital role in safeguarding stability and advancing global economic growth, commending allied nations for their collective efforts to enhance peace and cooperation.

Participants also discussed issues of mutual interest and matters related to the Manama Dialogue 2025. HRH Prince Turki and the senior delegates expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and commended Bahrain’s continued success in hosting this important international security forum. His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Excellency Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several officials, also attended the meeting.
