KSCA Ladies Wing Organizes 'Pink Walk' for Breast Cancer Awareness

The Ladies Wing of the Kerala Social and Cultural Association (KSCA) observed 'Pink Day' by organizing a successful 'Pink Walk' (Walkathon) as part of their annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.

The event, which saw the active participation of members and their families, began at 6:00 AM on Friday, October 17, starting from the Andalus Garden in Gudaibiya. Participants, carrying the 'Pink Walk' banner, completed the walkathon to show their solidarity and raise awareness.

In conjunction with the walk, KSCA also organized a free medical check-up camp in collaboration with KIMS Medical Centre.

The awareness program's highlight was a comprehensive seminar on breast cancer awareness led by the Chief Guest, Dr. Namitha Unnikrishnan from KIMS Medical Centre. Attendees found the session highly informative and beneficial.

Husniya Karimi, Founder of She Medic, graced the function as the Guest of Honour.

The event was presided over by KSCA President Rajesh Nambiar, who emphasized the crucial importance of timely medical check-ups in the context of global health challenges.

Acting General Secretary Satheesh welcomed the gathering, while Vice President Anil Kumar and Ladies Wing President Rama Santhosh offered felicitation speeches. Dr. Bindu Nair delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all who contributed to the event's success.
