Bahrain Showcases Digital Innovation at GITEX Global 2025
Under the “Kingdom of Bahrain” pavilion, organized by the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) will participate in GITEX Global 2025, one of the world’s largest technology events. The expo will take place in Dubai, UAE, from October 13 to 17, alongside the Economic Development Board, ARRAY for Innovations, and 14 Bahraini startups and SMEs across various IT and telecommunications sectors.
At Hall 20-A10, iGA will present its latest initiatives and projects in digital government services, leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence, while promoting knowledge sharing in the digital field. These initiatives highlight Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to enhance government operations, strengthen public-private partnerships, and accelerate the growth of the national economy, solidifying the Kingdom’s regional and global leadership in the ICT sector.
iGA emphasized the importance of GITEX as a platform that annually brings together business leaders, tech experts, startups, and innovators. The event provides an ideal environment for exchanging expertise, showcasing cutting-edge digital solutions, and shaping the future of technology. GITEX 2025 is expected to attract participants from over 180 countries, more than 6,000 exhibitors, and over 200,000 technology professionals. The event will also feature conferences and workshops with leading global speakers discussing the latest trends in technology.
