The events were organised by Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH)  in association with Worksmart events management company, under the patronage of the Minister of Transportation and Communications Kamal Ahmed.

The Minister cut the ribbon for the event yesterday, following which, several panel discussion sessions and seminars were held. Elaborating on the shifts, he said, “Data is gaining more economic values, and hence becoming the world’s new natural resources. The emergency of cloud, and cognitive computing is transforming IT and business process into digital services. Social media, smart mobiles, and big data growth, together are empowering people.”
