HM King Hails Role of Judiciary in Upholding Justice and Rule of Law

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressed pride in the judges of the Kingdom who carry the responsibility of safeguarding the rights of citizens and residents, while ensuring the principles of justice and rule of law are upheld.

HM the King underlined the noble mission of the judiciary and its vital role in advancing society and supporting national progress.

This came as HM King Hamad received a group of judges today at Safriya Palace, where they took the legal oath before His Majesty following the issuance of a Royal Decree appointing them as judges at the Court of Cassation and the High Civil Court of Appeal.

His Majesty congratulated the newly appointed judges and wished them success in their new national responsibilities, emphasizing their contribution to strengthening justice and reinforcing the rule of law.

HM the King reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding the independence of the judiciary, supporting judicial institutions, and providing qualified cadres to serve this vital sector. He praised Bahrain’s long-standing judicial heritage and the pioneering achievements made in the field of justice.

On this occasion, the newly appointed judges expressed their deep gratitude for the Royal trust, pledging to faithfully uphold the rule of law and discharge their duties with dedication.
