IECRC Bahrain Celebrates Prophet Muhammad's Birthday

The Islamic Educational and Cultural Research Center (IECRC) Bahrain recently held a landmark conference titled “Love for the Prophetic Sunnah” to commemorate the 1500th birthday of Prophet Muhammad. The event took place at the Bahrain Society of Engineers hall in Juffair and served as a moment of reflection and renewed commitment to the Prophet's teachings.
The conference began with recitations from the Holy Qur’an and spiritually uplifting Naat presentations, setting a deeply reverent tone. A highlight of the event was the Youth Session, where young members of the community discussed how the Prophetic legacy remains relevant in addressing contemporary challenges.
The keynote address was delivered by internationally renowned scholar Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Qadri. He spoke on the timeless relevance of the Sunnah in shaping individual character and promoting global harmony, emphasizing that true love for the Prophet is shown through sincere adherence to his way of life—embodying mercy, compassion, and justice.
H.E. Mr. Saqib Rauf, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain, also addressed the gathering. He praised IECRC's efforts in promoting Islamic values and fostering intercultural harmony, highlighting the Prophet's unifying role for Muslims worldwide.
The event combined scholarship, devotion, and youth engagement, inspiring attendees to translate their love for the Prophet into action. The IECRC, active in Bahrain and beyond, is dedicated to promoting love for Prophet Muhammad, preserving traditional Islamic scholarship, and serving communities. The conference concluded with a prayer for peace and unity, echoing the Prophet's message of mercy.
