HM King Hamad Returns to Bahrain After Oman Visit

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, returned today to the Kingdom of Bahrain after a private visit to the city of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman. The visit was in response to a kind invitation from His brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.

During the visit, King Hamad met with Sultan Haitham to discuss the strong historical ties and close brotherly relations between the two countries, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and joint efforts in various fields.

At the airport, Sultan Haitham personally saw HM King Hamad off, along with other senior Omani officials.

Before leaving, King Hamad expressed his gratitude, saying, “We leave Salalah with great appreciation for His Majesty Sultan Haitham and the people of Oman. We thank our brother Sultan Haitham for the warm welcome, generous hospitality, and kind invitation to visit Salalah, one of Oman’s most beautiful tourist destinations, which attracts visitors from within and outside the country. We wish His Majesty good health, long life, and continued progress and prosperity for the Sultanate of Oman and its people under his wise leadership.”

HM King Hamad’s visit was marked by a spirit of friendship and strengthened the bonds between the two nations.
