Jordan Intercepts 18 Iranian Missiles Targeting Kingdom

Amman: Jordan said its air defence systems intercepted 18 of 20 ballistic missiles launched from Iran, while two landed in unpopulated areas. No casualties were reported.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said the missiles targeted the US military base at Al-Azraq in eastern Jordan, claiming the attack damaged facilities used by US forces.
The strike came amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, following US attacks on Iranian oil tankers. Iran also warned oil tanker crews near Kuwait and Bahrain to leave their vessels, saying they could be targeted
