Ministry of Labour Honors Top Companies for Bahraini Employment in 2025

The Ministry of Labour has expressed its gratitude to ten companies for achieving the highest rates of Bahraini employment in the second quarter of 2025, covering April to June. These companies successfully hired hundreds of Bahraini employees during this period.

The ten companies recognized include: Lulu Bahrain Hypermarket, Bahrain Apparel Trading, Gulf Air Holding Group, McDonald’s, Six Bens HR Solutions, Ari Innovation, Madinat Alshawwa, Nass Contracting Company, Al Hilal Multispecialty Medical Center, and Al Helli Supermarket.

Looking at the first half of 2025 (January to June), ten companies managed to employ approximately 923 Bahraini nationals. Leading the list was Lulu Bahrain Hypermarket, which hired 157 new Bahraini employees, followed closely by McDonald’s with 148, and Sela Gulf in third place with 109.

The Ministry of Labour published the full list of the top ten companies on its website. The list for January–June includes Lulu Bahrain Hypermarket, McDonald’s, Sela Gulf, Gulf Air Holding Group, Bahrain Apparel Trading, Six Bens HR Solutions, Zain, Al Jazeera Supermarket, Al Helli Supermarket, and BAPCO Refining’s employee branch.

Employment figures for the other companies were:

• Gulf Air Holding Group – 97

• Bahrain Apparel Trading – 85

• Six Bens HR Solutions – 81

• Zain – 67

• Al Jazeera Supermarket – 66

• Al Helli Supermarket – 58

• BAPCO Refining – 55

Additional companies that contributed to Bahraini employment include: ASP Security Solutions (53), Bahrain Airport Services – BAS (53), Data Direct Bahrain Solutions (51), Al Mahwar Al Arabi Sandwiches (51), Gastronomic Bahrain Leisure (50), Al Raja School (46), Centrepoint Clear (42), Total CX (41), Al Nasr Security & Safety (41), and Al Hilal Multispecialty Medical Center (41).
