New James Bond 007 club launched in Bahrain

A group of young Bahrainis has set up the first non-profit club dedicated to James Bond 007 in the Kingdom, with membership open to fans across Bahrain and the Gulf.
Organisers say the cultural and arts club will bring together people who follow the books and the films.
The club plans yearround activity covering Bond on page and screen.
It will revisit the novels that began with ‘Casino Royale’ in 1953 and track the films from ‘Dr No’ (1962) through to ‘No Time to Die’, with updates on the next instalment widely referred to as ‘Bond 26’.
Open discussions
Events will run online and in person. The schedule includes open discussions, and cultural, literary and artistic workshops. Regular posts will look at character arcs and acting, and offer book and film analysis.
Set up in tribute to Ian Fleming, the British writer and reporter who created the agent, the club aims to serve as a meeting point for Bond followers in Bahrain and the wider region.
According to the organisers, the goal is to add a clear, steady strand to the local cultural calendar focused on a long-running series with worldwide reach.
