Bahrain Focuses on Expanding Support for People of Determination

Minister of Social Development and Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Care of People with Disabilities, Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to introduce and implement more national policies, initiatives, and programs to support people of determination.
Chairing the committee’s first meeting since its restructuring, Al Alawi highlighted the need for ongoing cooperation between all relevant entities to improve the quality of services provided to people with disabilities, ensuring their empowerment, rehabilitation, and full inclusion in society.
During the meeting, the committee discussed several key topics, including proposals to enhance the process of providing specialized assistive devices and mechanisms to raise public awareness about the rights of people of determination.
